Nearby: Lee Vinning and Mammoth
June Lake is 15 minutes from Mammoth to the north, and Lee Vining to the South. If you can’t find the right stop to stay in June Lake, these towns are great nearby alternatives.
Mammoth is the biggest town in the area, so it’s a bit more built up and developed, with lots of options to stay.
Lee Vining is a bit more rustic—think wild west cowboys meets PCT through-hikers.
